FAMILY INVOLVEMENT

The Pre-K program values parents as the child’s first teacher and welcomes parents to participate in program activities.  Teachers are required to hold a minimum of two parent conferences during the school year.  Our goal is to maintain on-going open communication with parents regarding the progress of each child enrolled in Pre-K. Parents desiring to talk to a teacher may do so during the teacher’s plan time and/or after school. All classroom visits and teacher meetings must be predetermined. Teachers will NOT be available to talk to parents at any other time.

Parties at School: Parents are allowed to bring in treats for the class to celebrate their student’s birthday. However, the teacher needs to be contacted and the treats will need to be brought to the front office. Parents are not allowed to come to classrooms for individual birthday celebrations due to the interruption of the instructional time in the classroom.
